Holiday Layers - Winnie and Walter Rerun

Good morning! Today is the start of a new Rerun Feature and Challenge at Winnie and Walter - this month our featured set is Merry and Bright with Evelin T Designs. I ended up making two cards to share today - that look like a ton of layers and lots of work, but came together super quickly thanks to the bundle of Pinkfresh Studios December days goodies that Shay included in our DT package with the new release (shhh...coming soon!!!) - so much fun and happy!

For both cards I used some of the pattern paper from the large 12x12 December Days paper pack, trimmed down to fit my card fronts. I also layered on a doily and some pattern paper from last years Pinkfresh studios Christmas 6x6 in my stash - Oh Joy. Then came the fun part!

I grabbed one of the 3x4 cards from the Gold Foiled Cards Set for each card, and stamped my sentiment from Merry and Bright with Evelin T Designs. Hard to see in all the photos, but this first one has gold foiling on all the dots! Then I set about layering on embellishments!

For each card I combined some of the Ephemera pack with some of the Puffy Stickers. I attached the Ephemera pieces with foam adhesive for dimension.

Before adhering that front piece on, I wrapped some jute twine around the card to tie in a bow on the side. I used foam adhesive to attach the 3x4 card to my card front!

These cards were SOOO incredibly fun to put together! And so easy! I love CAS cards, but sometimes I just love lots of bumpy texture and layers! :)
