Sparkly Gold Underwater Mermaid

Good morning! Sharing another card from the new Unity Stamp Company releases this weekend - and a Quick Tip video for it as well - this one is a sparkly mermaid underwater scene!

Here is the video showing how I combined normal watercolors with some sparkly gold - such a fun effect:

The way the two colors blend is just so fun - I just simply can't get enough watercolors! After the video, I went ahead and colored in the mermaid as well.

I added a bit of pattern paper peeking out around the mermaid, then mounted it on a soft blue cardbase to finish off.

Beautiful Whale - Unknown Marvelous

Good morning! Sharing another card from the new Unity Stamp Company releases this weekend - and a Quick Tip video for it as well!

Here is that video - just sharing how I did the watercoloring on this card:

I love the effect of two colors and allowing them to blend together like this - as well as leavin gthe image uncolored and simple.

I used a distress tool on the edges before attaching to my pattern paper - which was actually in my random pile, so I have no idea what company is is from!

He is my joy and my song - Reverse Confetti SFYTT

Good morning! Stopping by with a card this morning for the current Reverse Confetti SFYTT (stands for Sketch For You To Try) - and there are a couple days left to enter if you haven't already!

The current sketch can be found HERE:
I layered lots of pattern paper for my card - and die cut the Butterfly from Butterfly Dreams Confetti Cuts out of pattern paper without the coordinating dies. The sentiment is from My Heart Trusts and was heat embossed on vellum, then I used my paper trim to cut it into a thin strip, using scissors to cut around the "joy" word. I added some clear droplets from Pretty Pink Posh on there as well - using those to disguise the tiny dots of adhesive I added to hold the vellum piece in place.

I also used a frame from All Framed Up Dies, and Edge Essentials for the tiny pinked edges on the diagonal panel.

Here are the Reverse Confetti products I used on this card - click on the picture if you want to learn more about any of these items!

Unity Hip Hop - Simple Boat Silhouette Card

Good evening! It's that fun time when the Unity Stamp Company Design Team has their monthly Hip Hop! I have a super clean and simple card using one of the new releases - and a Quick Tip video for it as well!

Here is the video:

I wanted it to look as if the sun was behind the boat, and then the blue for the sky around that.

I love the simpleness of this card - and yet how it draws your eyes right to the image and sentiment and focuses you there!

I tiny bit of jute twine at the bottom finishes it off!

There are also tons of sales to celebrate the new releases!

Here are links to the products I used on this including affiliate links where possible - and below that the rest of the stops along the hop - make sure and visit them all! Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful evening!
