Clothespin and Twine Front Panel

Good morning! Have you seen some of the new releases from Unity Stamp Company? They are darling - and top of my cute list is this little one! I adore the sentiments that come with it as well!

I have a Quick Tip Video for this card as well - basically showing how I use a clothespin and twine on the card - and a little secret tip on how to hold everything in place!

I used watercolors for the image, and some pretty woodgrain pattern paper in the background. Lots of simple white space on this card!

I'm also linking this up to this weeks Simon Says Monday Challenge - Transport It (this has to be one of the most fun modes of transportation, don't you think?):

LID February Spring Release - Day 2

Hello! Back again for Day 2 of the brand new release at Lil' Inker Designs! You should have arrived here from Chrissy Larson - if you stopped by here you can refer to the entire blog hop at the bottom so you don't miss a stop or a chance to win the amazing giveaway. I also have links to all the new products I used on today's cards!

Today's cards are all about the guys - and use the exactly same stamp set just in slightly different ways!

I started off with the adorable Bunny Buddies Stamp and Die set - an adorable set perfect for little boy cards! I colored this one in warm grays for a black and white effect, then pulled out a great guy paper pad, and die cut a layer using Wrappers Delight: Sunburst Die. Layered everything together, added the cute bunny with foam tape, and added Glossy Accents to the glasses, balloon, and little star on the shirt.

And then I did one in sepia tones!

I did a lot very similar here - same paper pad, same thing with Glossy Accents, and the coloring is very neutral - just this time in warm browns for a sepia effect instead of black and white. I die cut an oval using Stitched Ovals, and added a strip of scrap pattern paper under the bunny with the sentiment. A tiny paper clip and some jute twine finish it off!

Your next stop along the blog hop is Jennifer Carter - head over there next to finish the hop before you go shopping. See you tomorrow with more projects and fun!

And now the really fun part! One lucky person is going to win THE ENTIRE RELEASE! Winner will be chosen from comments left along the hop - so the more comments you leave, the better your chance of winning!

Here is the entire Blog Hop line-up - make sure and check out each stop and leave your comments:

Hey Chickie!

I'm back to share another card using the Simon Says Stamp March Card Kit: Some Bunny - while this kit is sold out, most items are still available to purchase separately. I did notice most of them were out of stock currently, but I figured I'd share this anyway now so you can be ready to grab it when it comes back in stock if you are interested! Or maybe you are a lucky subscriber and already know you will be able to get your hands on it! :)

I used one of the cute little critters from the Some Bunny Stamp Set - the chick! I heat embossed it in white on the piece of Bright Yellow cardstock that was was in the kit - this is a brand new color, that I imagine will be releasing separately soon.

I fussy cut it out, then used a circle and scallop border die to create a little grassy scene for it. Sentiment heat embossed on a strip of black cardstock, then some pretty pattern paper from the kit with a bit of distressing on the edges with my Tim Holtz distress tool and a bit of machine stitching to finish it off!
